Most people know about the dog show in which dogs are judged according to a standard (Conformation), but owning a Bouvier is not just all about how pretty your dog is. The Bouvier was bred to work the farm (Herding or Farm Dog), go to market (Carting) and oversee all guard duties (Guard/Protection). If you own a Bouvier there is an event you and your dog can do together. Your Bouvier is an intelligent and active dog that needs a job to do.
Maybe your dog is very active and loves to run (Agility), enjoys being with people loving dog attention (Therapy Dog), has a strong prey drive and will chase anything (Coursing), develops a close bond with you and will follow your instructions (Canine Good Citizen, Obedience and Rally), uses his nose to find things (Scent Work and Tracking), or just wants to have fun fooling around with you (Trick Dog). You can enhance all of these natural behaviors and have fun while training your Bouvier. Be amazed at what your Bouvier can and will do for you by checking into the world of dog sports.
