Volunteer of the Year Award

The ABdFC Volunteer of the Year Award recognizes and honors an outstanding individual who is volunteering their time and talent to the benefit of Bouvier des Flandres and the American Bouvier des Flandres Club. This individual must be a current member in good standing of ABdFC and is making or has made a significant contribution to the Bouvier community through commitment, service, creativity, cooperation and leadership in their volunteer role(s).

For the purposes of this award, volunteering is defined as:
  • Volunteers significant unpaid hours over a significant period of time
  • Contributes talents, energy and skills to help the breed and/or ABdFC
  • Demonstrates initiative in taking on a volunteer role

Award Guidelines
Nominators include a brief paragraph indicating their reason for nomination. The nomination information will be shared with the membership to assist in their decision-making during voting on a ballot mailed to the membership.

Winners Announced
The award honoree is announced at the Annual Awards Banquet held each year at the National Specialty.
