2 Days of Draft Dog Tests and Carting Trials - 4 opportunities to earn a title
September 5 and 6
Saturday will start with a North American Working Bouvier Association (NAWBA) Carting Trial, followed by an American Bouvier des Flandres Association (ABdFC) Carting Test. Sunday they will flip the order and start the day with the ABdFC Test. This will be located at beautiful Sontag Park in Nine Mile Falls, WA. Ruth Nielsen will be judging the NAWBA trials, and Jennifer Brightbill will be judging the ABdFC Tests.

Fit Dog
The AKC has a Fit Dog program to promote health in dog families. The Fit Dog program brings physical activity’s health benefits to both you and your dog. The Dog Aging Project research has found that just like people, dogs that are active have better cognitive function.

You can apply for Fit Dog titles – the Bronze level only requires regular walks and one active performance sport participation. The titles require documentation of organized walks. Near Portland Nicole Wright is holding Fit Dog walks. The next one is Saturday July 19 at Mary Young Park in Lake Oswego. All dogs are on leash for the one-mile loop.
